Instead of trying to eke out every possible drop of Gasoline with your irritating and sometimes dangerous behavior how about get a fucking EV and drive it normally instead?

or live closer to where you work instead of acting like you’re saving the planet because you bought a Prius for your 100 mile commute.

Wind turbines have gotten astoundingly large. At some point you wonder if they are going to want to star air-dropping them or something. I guess part of the appeal of offshore wind is that you can just put them on a boat.

It’s a twisted mentality, a disease, and won’t stop after they’ve purchased an electric car. When that happens they’ll just try to squeeze every last mile out of a charge and drive the same way or worse, but now with added range anxiety. All the ‘what ifs’ about the things they can’t do on the fly because of the state of their charge, as if worrywarts like this are actually spontaneous and have a life.

I’m confused, the front car looks like a Leaf, which it wouldnt make a difference how fast he was going as long as he was below the aerodynamic resistance barrier.

Shit. You’re right.

Autonomous cars are a solution maybe? in the future? I hope no autonomous car maker comes out with a hypermiling option ever. I am sure these assholes will want one.

Autonomous cars can’t come soon enough. There are just too many people out there that look at driving as a chore and are too busy conversing, texting, reading, eating, etc. to be bothered to pay attention to the road.

Other than destination, autonomous cars for these people shouldn’t have any settings. Kind of like the walled-off Apple world, where you don’t have to get yours hands dirty but instead leave important decisions to engineers that actually thought this stuff through. For those of us that like to tweak things there will still be options, but most people those options are unnecessary and tedious, and it’s best not to bother them with pesky details.

Makes me want to take the fintail out for a 100 mile drive just to cancel out the yearly smug emissions of something like that.

These aren’t even that big. Maybe a 30 meter blade or so?
